The name “Freejam” is a portmanteau of terms “ jam “ in music and the free software movement’s background philosophy “ free as in speech, not free as in beer “.
As a service FreejamTV is currently in public alpha development phase and absolutely without any warranties or guarantees.

Licensing
This is currently an open issue, the aim is that all self generated content under freejam.tv domain will be reuseable. FreejamTV is powered by solutions from a number of 3rd party providers and they have own licensing policies.
Participation
You are welcomed to participate as coder, guest, producer and so on. Let us know, drop a line. Linking to our material is also participating. Knowing that “sharing is caring”.
Privacy
On websites has been used Clicky web analytics. It’s only used for development demands of the service. We won’t rent, lease or trade visitors data and we don’t set cookies.
Setup of platform
Powered by Frog CMS. A customized lighttpd is used as the web server and it’s all running on an Ubuntu linux distibution.
